Smok TFV12 Cloud Beast King Review

If you are the type of vaper who is looking for excellent flavor and massive clouds, you are finally able to achieve this without needing to fiddle around with an RDA. The new Smok TFV12 Cloud Beast King is here and believe me, it’s downright impressive. Finally, there’s a tank that you can take up to 300W without experiencing any issues at all. With this you will be able to match the power of any state of the art mod out there.

Older Smok versions such as theTFV4 or the TFV8 are performing great as we speak, yet the TFV12 Cloud Beast King is a guaranteed fog machine. I was more than amazed to see that the vapor coming off of it is not super-hot even when I kicked it up to 200W. A smooth and flavor rich experience is what it provides, and it’s definitely something that will catch the attention of all you cloud chasers.

What’s inside the box

The Smok TFV12 Cloud Beast King comes with three coil types, an extra  glass tube, a nice little of bag  spare O-rings,  a vape band, a few gaskets, and of course, the users-manual. The coil that you get pre-installed in the tank is the V12-T12 0. This is one 12 Ohm bad boy that is rated from 130 to 200W. This is perfect for producing those massive clouds. It also goes through your e-liquid like a warm knife goes through butter.

Another coil you’re going to get with the tank is the V12-X4. This is the quadruple version which is rated at 0.15 Ohms. This is designed for flavor and you are able to use it up to 170-180W. Last but certainly not least, is the V12-Q4 quadruple coil. This doesn’t go through your e-liquid that fast and is great for flavour.

The Cloud Beast King is available in two versions. One that has pre-built coils, and another that has two RBA’S.

According to the Smok website, you are able to get the TFV12 tank in RBA mode, where instead of coming with the pre-built coils it’s got two RBAs. From what I’ve heard from other reviewers these do a fantastic job and the good news is that you can use them in single coil mode also. I only got the 3-coil version, so it isn’t possible for me to give you an objective perspective on the performance of the RBA heads.

The Smok TFV12  is certainly a huge sub ohm tank. It’s base diameter is 25mm. At its middle point the diameter is 27mm. The total height of the device is 70mm. Its weight is just 90 grams. It is made of quality stainless steel and Pyrex glass and it feels solid and durable. It’s available in four different colors; black, gold, silver, and a seven-color model. E-liquid capacity on the Smok TFV12 Cloud Beast King is 6.0ml.

Like the other tanks in the TFV series, the Cloud Beast King makes use of a swivel top-fill mechanism, which something I definitely like. This makes refilling it a super easy job and is in the case of with bad boy, this is something you will be doing often. This tank comes with adjustable airflow located on its base. It’s probably a good idea that you leave it wide open when you are vaping at over 180W.

When it comes to performance the name Smok TFV12 Cloud Beast King is all that is needed. This is the kind of tank that can easily fill up a room with vapor in less than a minute.  The flavor that you get off it is fantastic. It manages to keep up the same tasty flavor even when you use it at high wattages. I did not get any dry hits or leaks and was more than satisfied with the overall build quality and its features. If you love big clouds and you don’t have a problem with going through 20ml of e-juice daily than it’s the perfect toy.
